A poem from the deep waters of Bunco Wiffy

Walking through dark parameters

I see a light

Ronk splastics waves his merry hand

Ahoy ship mates

Welcome to the galaxian hour

My mind floats to breasted shores and the port culis

The light is on and someone is home

Ahoy it is my fair lass soon to be my wife

She keeps me sane in the witching hour

When ships run aground in treacherous seas

Dark waters and bright lights keep the worms at bay

Bream bream a talisman checks the night air

And passes me the password.....

Halloween Critical Mass

It didn't take much.

Halloween Critical Mass was pretty peaceful and a good laugh. Perhaps as few as 30 people on bikes and the road was calmed.

Some wore slogans, others wore costumes. You take what you want to it and from it. Just the noise of bicycle bells and goodwill.

ta Rot

paralysed by prudence

distilation through silence and contemplation

so blinded by whats inside that he needs a light to see in the daylight

using the light to look and see more clearly into whats around

"the seeker for truth must go in to the wilderness or wherever
there is nothing to re-adjust his sense of values"

Critical Mass - Dublin 2006 - Halloween

Dublin, despite the shiny Luas (new tram system) , is still a heavily congested nightmare for cyclists and pedestrians. We have a small opportunity next Friday (27th) to remind car users that there are others who use the streets and that cycling is a nice way to get around. OK chances are that we'll proabably alienate some tired commuters, but then did they really need to drive into the city in the first place?

So why not start Halloween off with a bit of Critical Mass bike fun. Invite friends and family, put away your reservations about making a scene , get into your costume early, head to The Garden of Rememberance for about 6pm, we will head off at 7.
